Neo-Plasticism

Following the philosophy and principles of Neo-Plasticism as defined by Piet Mondrian, my work is reduced to essential components that focus on order and harmony within the specific parameters of straight horizontal and vertical lines with a color palette of three primary colors plus black, white and gray.

 

Abstract asymmetrical forms seek to balance the composition to create an equilibrium without symbolic or figurative references resulting in "living rhythm".

 

My intention is to use Neo-Plasticism's guidelines to create an opening for the viewers experience of universal harmony and spiritual order.
